Once you have the instance number, you can search for it in your Mods/Packages folder using Packer. Install Packer and launch it. Click on the "Search Packages" icon in the top left corner. It's the second one from the left and looks like a pair of binoculars. That will open up a new window called "Package Search".
It's under Traits. The reason is that adding a LTR requires a "purchase," with Happiness points as the "currency," whereas removing one does not refund the purchase. It's simply a removal. NRaas > MC > (Sim) > Advanced > Traits > Drop Rewards. (MC Cheats module required)
Sims with high "Wildlife Friend" skill have less chance to startle a wild horse away. Having the "Animal Lover" and the "Loves the Outdoor" traits will help build this skill faster. I use a mod by Shimrod101 which fixes the routing for Horses and Deer, so maybe you can try it out and see if it helps your Sim "watch" a little longer.
So you see, this is why so many players use SP mods like NRaas. SP mods correct these weird and illogical twists in Sims 3 and they try to change the gameplay story of the currently inactive households more meaningful, logical, and consequent. But of course you can decide that you don't need this "logic" and can stay by using EA SP.
But these sims are very much spread out among my worlds. Certainly game file size stands to increase as the we move through that many generations of play. Riverview is special though because I have like 260 residents there -- I like crowded worlds, again pushing the limits of what the game and the mods can handle.
i'm literally the last person to find out about this because i just refuse to look things up (its a horrible flaw, i know), but i could not for the life of me figure out how to use NRaas integration to get my initial CAS to run smoothly. i had such a horrible system, i would like make the most awful sims, just give them whatever traits, move them in, and then go in and fix all the CAS settings

In Go Here: If "Use daycare instead of babysitters" is set to True, AND "Allow babies/toddlers to be home alone" is set to False, AND there is a daycare provider in town, then inactive residents should use that. 2. Caregiver settings: Make sure the daycare provider is level 5. Push allow after work = False. Push allow during the day = False.
Location: Everyone should strive to find their inner platypus. Yes, but not directly. In TS3 there must be a sim in between on the family tree (the parent). MC Cheats can be used to specify the child of the elder and then the child of the parent. Or the other way around by specifying the parent of the child then the parent of the parent.
In your new homeworld, click on the residential lot where you want them placed (your own, one where other sims currently live, or an unoccupied house), then: NRaas > MC > Add Sim > Homeworld > (filter to their current homeworld), and select the sims you want to move this way.
The Nraas webpage states that combining Nraas core mods and SP 2.1 is currently unsupported and they recommend using and older version (1.2 iirc) of SP instead. But I've also seen many people combine the two with seemingly no issues.
Do you by any chance have NRaas Selector set to Move Interactions to Cheat Menu > True and does the problem clear up on both regular and shift-clicks if you change that to False? That's not a solution of course if you wanted Selector set that way and if that's what the issue is, just a suggested attempt to help pinpoint the problem.
I use something more like 30/10/6/2/1, slightly different for each world. The way this works is like soft caps. if a level ratio to the total resident population is maxed out, then no further sims can reach that level until some of them drop back to the lower ones, die, or move out of the world.
