Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Origins 60fps updates are transformative on PS5 and Series X/S Digital Foundry tests the 'next-gen' patches.

Playstation needs to do something about FPS across all ac games. Xbox has fps boosted a lot of classics from the series and I’m sure playstation has the capabilities to do the same with PS5. Fortunately, origins will probably be properly optimized for the new consoles directly from Ubisoft. 60fps only from now on, please ubi If not, I hope they put out an update allowing for 60fps (which they probably won't if they haven't already). According to the two threads just a bit below yours, it's still locked at 30 fps. I have heard nothing out of Ubisoft that would indicate they remember Origins still exists.

The long-awaited 60 FPS patch for Assassin’s Creed Origins is nearly here, and PS5 players will soon be able to revisit the scorching sands of ancient Egypt on next-gen consoles. Only the PlayStation update has been revealed so far, but it’s likely that the game will also be enhanced on Xbox Series X|S as well.
Ps4 runs all linear games at 60 fps like for one example your standard fps games like cod or battlefield, those games will remain 60fps this new gen thats not special thats expected, if big open world games like gtas red deads far crys etc are still going to be 30fps because they are bigger games thats really disappointing for these high and mighty flashy pure power obsessed new gen consoles
I wouldn't bet on a remaster, since it got it's "Next Gen Update" with the launch of the last gen consoles (contrary to the Ezio Trilogy, AC3 and Rogue). And playing through it right now on PS5, i have to admit it looks very good. Too good actually to justify a remaster, because literally the only thing would be the 60 fps. odyssey was amazing for me, I never played any of the new ac games since unity as I thought the games would be hack and slash rpg. I was very wrong and now want to play origins which I heard is better than odyssey only problem is, as I played odyssey in 60fps, I feel like I won't enjoy origins now at 30fps

Assassin’s Creed: Origin is specially optimized for NVIDIA GPU’s. So if you have powerful GPUs like AMD RX Vega 56 and AMD RX Vega 64 still your game will run on not more than 60 FPS in 1080p resolution. GTX 1060 runs the game better than AMD RX Vega 64. For Honor does not have a PS5 version. It does have ps4 Pro enhancements: it can run in a higher resolution OR it can run with greater graphical fidelity (more objects on screen). On Ps5, For Honor has a higher resolution AND greater graphical fidelity AND now it runs at 60fps.
I have a launch PS4 and now a PS5. Before getting a PS5 I tried to play Days Gone and I didn't get very far. I thought it was ok and the graphics were good but the framerate was just terrible. It really took away from the experience. I decided to revist on the PS5 and man its incredible. 60fps make all the difference in the world.
The Evil Within 2 doesn't have a PS5 update or something per se, but with it's latest patch you're able to unlock the framerate and it runs on buttery smooth 60fps on PS5. It plays great this way
