Glue the ropes on the canvas base. Firstly, cut the unwanted loose string from the knot. Then, find the center of the fabric, and glue on the knot using fabric glue. Now, twirl the jute rope around from the center point, going clockwise as you work your way around the whole diameter of the circle.
Place one plastic bag in a horizontal position on the ground.Remove the base and the handles, and then cut the object in half lengthwise to create one large rectangle.Proceed in the same manner with the remaining bags.Make lengthy strips out of each of the rectangles.Assemble a jump rope out of the strips by tying them together until they reach the desired length (about 12 strips).
Place a hook through each hole. Use the pliers to make two 90 degree bends in each wire. It will look like the 7th picture. From here place the wires through the second piece of wood and make a final 90 degree bend to keep the handle in place. Trim off the excess wire so they don't interfere with each other during operation.
Center your presser foot right between the two, and the stitch will hold the fabric coiled rope together. Make sure the beginning spiral is to the left of your presser foot, that it looks like a 9. This will make sure that the bowl will be to the outside of your sewing machine. If you started the wrong way, that's okay.

great idea to use bags, in making rope you usually twist in opposite direction once 3 strands get tight Can make a small crank type handle on the other end . Then as strands get tight use the cross to keep tight and twist the 3 strands together. Makes really strong rope and will not unravel.
